About Me:: i am a 50 year old woman. i dropped out of high school in 1974. have been self employed in the arts & industrial design for the last 25 years. formerly a designer/maker of original wood/metal furniture,lighting and store fixtures. created program, for Santa Monica S.D. Arts enrichment Program," Real hand tool woodworking for kids"grades 1-6. taught the course for 6 years and trained several other instructors. have worked as a sound & lighting designer for the stage. was a professional go-go dancer on tour of japan,
film & video production manager. production & wardrobe design for film & television. Have been shooting photographs since the age of 17. i have one son,and several dogs. i am left handed and have an IQ of 146.

Have you lived or worked in a developing country? What did you learn?: that the United Kingdom is far more like a 3rd world nation than one could ever imagine! Don't judge a country by its demographics or its once grand empires.

Please describe the skills and abilities you have that you think will be useful for this project.: i am a highly skilled fabricator/ designer in a variety of materials and applications. not having had a formal education has been a major factor in the development of an open mind and an uncommonly high level of resourcefulness . I always read the enclosed directions first!

That's where we're starting to build the actual site and are slowly migrating the materials from this site and the piclopedia.org sites, while also building the icon-oriented search capability and creating examples of universal design plans/designs.
